Ezer Modiin Takeaway / פרויקט חדש בשיתוף עזר מודיעין

האם מדי פעם נשאר לכם אוכל עד שהוא נזרק לפח? האם מדי פעם אתם מבשלים או אופים ונשא לכם מעט מהמרכיבים אך אתם לא יכולים לשמור אותם?
האם ידעתם כי ישנם מעל 500 משפחות בעיר שלנו שאין להם מספיק מזון?
עם קצת מחשבה ואפילו פחות מאמץ ניתן לעזור למשפחות האלו בצורה משמעותית.
זה פשוט – אין שום התחייבות. בין אם אתם עוזרים על בסיס שבועי, חודשי או שנתי, הכול יתקבל בברכה.
אז איך זה עובד:
בימי שישי: בין ההכנות לשבת אתם יכולים להכין קצת יותר ממה שתצטרכו.
אחרי שבת: שאריות המזון יכולים להפוך לארוחות למשפחות נזקקות.
נפגשנו עם הרב סגל מארגון "עזר מודיעין" שעושה המון למען משפחות נזקקות בעיר. רוב התשתית כבר מוכנה ולכן פרויקט זה יהיה בשיתוף עם עזר מודיעין.
כל דבר מתקבל בברכה, אך יש שני דברים חשובים ונחוצים:
1. כל האוכל חייב להגיע בצורה מכובדת – הכוונה היא שהאוכל יהיה ארוז - לא בהגשה מפוארת אבל כמובן ללא דברים שלקחו מהם ביס ואז החזירו לצלחת.
2. כל המזון חייב להיות בתוקף ובטוח לאכילה. כמובן הרעיון כאן הוא לעזור לאנשים ולא להזיק להם.
תוכנית זו תתחיל ביום שישי הקרוב ה-19 לאוקטובר.
אין צורך לקבוע מראש – פשוט תגיעו עם האוכל!
איסוף המזון יהיה בביתם של רבקה וג'וש הוקלי, רח' שרה אמנו 56.
יום שישי: 9:00-11:00
מוצאי שבת: חצי שעה לאחר צאת שבת למשך שעה.

Do you cook or bake some delicious food and have just that little bit of ingredients left over that you do not need but cannot store?

With little thought and even less effort, we can go a long way towards solving this problem.
It’s very simple – there is no commitment. Do it weekly, monthly, annually - all appreciated

ON FRIDAY: You’re baking cakes, challah, or frying schnitzels – and you want to make a little more than you need
AFTER SHABBAT: turn leftovers into takeways for those in need!
We met with Rav Segal who heads up Ezer Modiin - which is heavily involved in many aspects of helping the needy in Modiin. Most of the infrastructure is already in place so we will be doing this under his auspices.
Everything will be appreciated, just two important and obvious requirements:
1. All food is presented in a way that one would like to receive it – we are not looking for gold platters but we are not looking for half chewed pieces of meat either
2. All food must be in date and safe to eat – the idea is to help people, not to harm them :-)
We will start this programme this Friday 19 October.

"Peanut free" Shul

לידיעתכם, עקב אלרגיות אצל מספר ילדים הורו בוטנים מבית הכנסת. נודה לכם אם לא תביאו "במבה" ומאכלים אחרים שיש בהם בוטנים לבית הכנסת על מנת לשמור על בריאות אותם ילדים הסובלים מאלרגיה זו. מדובר בקידושים וכל אירוע אחר הנערך בבית הכנסת.
The shul is now "Peanut Free" due to several allergic children. If you could please refrain from bringing Bamba / other peanut foods into the shul for safety purposes. Kiddushim included.

למוד הורים ילדים מי רוצה להיות משניונר./ Parent Child Learning - Who Wants to be a Mishna-aire

סופרים עוד 5 שבועות עד ל.....
א. זמן מתן תורתנו, חג השבועות.
ב. "מי רוצה להיות משניונר" חידון מהנה על פרקי אבות לילדים בכיתות א'-ו'.
ג. עוגות גבינה ומאכלי חלב מגוונים.
ד. לימוד כל הלילה- שיעורים וחברותות בקהילת שערי יונה מנחם.
ה. כל הנ"ל
הצטרפו אלינו השבוע לתוכנית הלימוד המשותף של הורים וילדים בשבת בבוקר, שבו נתחיל להתכונן לחידון ה"מי רוצה להיות משניונר" שלנו.
נלמד מבחר של פרקי אבות ונעשה כמה סבבי נסיון של החידון החינוכי והמהנה אשר ייערך בשבועות.
כללי המשחק:
1. בואו ללמוד בבית הכנסת בשבת בבוקר בין השעות 10:45-11:25. אנו מעודדים את ההורים והילדים ללמוד יחד , הילדים יכולים ללמוד בקבוצות. המקורות יינתנו למשתתפים.
2. אספו כרטיסים עבור השתתפות ועבור תשובות נכונות בחידון ה-"מי רוצה להיות משניונר" אשר ייערך בשעה 11:00. תוכלו לבחור את רמת הקושי של שאלתכם, ובמקרים מסוימים תוכלו להוועץ ב"הורה טלפוני". לכיתות א' ו-ב' תערך סבב משלהם באותה שעה.
3. שמרו את הכרטיסים- הם ייאספו לפרסים ענקיים מדהימים.
4. למדו משניות בעל פה- גם עבורן תקבלו כרטיסים.
5. בואו לחידון הסופי אשר ייערך בשבועות. לימדו, צחקו ועודדו את חבריכם וילדיכם!
הפרסים כוללים: מכונת פופקורן , ריפסטיק , שובר מתנה לכד וחומר, מכונית שלט-רחוק . . .

b) "Who Wants to be a Mishnaire", a fun chidon on Pirkei Avot for children in grades 1-6
c) Cheesecake and excessive dairy foods
d) All night learning-- shiurim and chevrutot at KSYM

Join us this week at our Shabbat morning Parent Child Learning program as we begin our "Who Wants to be a Mishnaire?" chidon.
We will be studying select Pirkei Avot and having some trial rounds for the fun and educational chidon taking place on Shavuot.
Rules of Play
1) Come to learn in the shul on Shabbat morning at 10:45-11:25. Parents and children are encouraged to learn together and kids can set up groups. Sources will be provided.
2) Collect tickets for participation and for correct answers in the "Who Wants to be a Mishnaire" game taking place at 11:10am. You will get to choose the level of difficulty of your question, and in some cases, you may get to "phone a parent". Grades 1 and 2 will have their own rounds at the same time.
3) Hold onto your tickets. They accumulate for grand prizes that are amazing
4) Learn mishnayot from Avot by heart. They too qualify you for tickets
5) Come to the final chidon on Shavuot. Learn, laugh and cheer your friends and children on!
Prizes Include: Popcorn Machine, Ripstick, Gift Certificate to Kad V'chomer, remote control car and more!
